Job summary

Colorado Coalition for the Homeless seeks a Front Desk Safety Associate to lead safety initiatives, develop trauma-informed plans, monitor building activity, and coordinate with security and emergency responders. You will engage residents with supportive safety practices, document interventions, and work with internal teams to ensure continuity of care in a safe environment at Stout Street Lofts, Denver.

This role requires strong communication, risk assessment, and the ability to respond

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; additional mental health training preferred.
• Experience designing or administering safety programs with trauma-informed care principles.
• Experience in case management, peer support, housing counseling, or security operations within social services preferred.
• Experience working with homeless or underserved populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement trauma-informed safety plans and monitor effectiveness.
• Check in and out all individuals; monitor cameras and building activity.
• Complete Safety Zone reports and follow up to ensure mitigation.
• Coordinate with contract security and responders; direct security measures.
• Assist residents with access to healthcare and related services.
• Maintain records of assessments and interventions; coordinate with teams for continuity of care.
