The Isaacs Center focuses primarily on the needs of children and low‑income families, out-of-school and out-of-work youth, and aging New Yorkers. It operates at community centers located in East Harlem and Yorkville, delivering programs that are impactful, innovative, and intergenerational.
Front Desk - greeting and assisting residents and visitors and maintaining a safe and secure environment. Responsibilities often include logging visitors in and out, answering phones, taking messages, and conducting rounds to observe and report any issues. Some positions may also require janitorial support, report safety concerns, and observe policy violations. These individuals are responsible for answering phones, assisting visitors, receiving deliveries, and aiding residents. The ability to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and de‑escalate conflicts is important.
