Job summary

HealthFitness in Barrington, IL is seeking a full-time Front Desk Supervisor to lead a dedicated front desk team and ensure an exceptional member experience. You will support membership processes and serve as a primary contact for inquiries, while upholding the facility’s standards.

The role requires supervising staff, conducting onboarding and training, and coordinating with other departments to deliver quality service.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of accounting or office management experience.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications preferred or must be completed within 30 days.
• Comfort with computers and learning POS and member software.
• Strong verbal and written communication and ability to relate to diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily front desk operations and guest experience.
• Lead, train, and schedule front desk and back-of-house staff.
• Process payroll bi-weekly and ensure accurate member records.
• Address member questions, concerns, and complaints promptly.
• Collaborate with fitness, locker room, and other departments as needed.
