The Front Desk Supervisor provides guidance and leadership as the lead Front Office Clerk, ensuring consistent quality customer service is delivered. Responsibilities include effective communication, monitoring lobby traffic, greeting guests, completing registration, promoting the hotel’s marketing programs, room selection, handling cash and payments, and resolving customer issues. The role requires standing and mobility, and the ability to handle emergency situations calmly.
Requirements include basic mathematical skills, effective communication, and computer proficiency. Education should be at least a high school diploma; some college is preferred. Prior experience is not required but two years of front desk and supervisory experience is preferred. All employees must maintain a neat appearance and may need to work varied shifts due to the hotel’s 24/7 operation.
