Job summary

Shaner Hotels is seeking a Front Desk Supervisor at Hershey Hampton Inn, part of the Shaner Hotel Group. You will oversee front desk operations and ensure guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment near Hershey attractions.

Responsibilities include managing schedules, handling guest inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front desk area. Some college and bilingual English/Spanish are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in a similar position; supervisory experience is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, management and staff.
• High school graduate or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions for guests.

Responsibilities

• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel features, room types, rates, room availability, and expected arrivals/departures.
• Handle guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Assist staff with their job functions to ensure optimum service.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned areas.
• Present guest folios and process payments; adhere to payment, cash handling and credit policies/procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Responsible for supervising all aspects of the Front Desk functions, in accordance with hotel standards.
