Job summary

The Colony Hotel in Maine, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, is seeking a Front Desk Supervisor to lead the front desk team and ensure guest satisfaction. The role requires a proactive, guest-focused mindset and the ability to manage shifts, train staff, and coordinate with maintenance and housekeeping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous hotel or resort experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong customer service orientation with guest focus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and process charges accurately.
• Note and fulfill special requests; provide VIP handling.
• Resolve issues to WOW guests and recover service when needed.
• Supervise daily front desk shift and ensure SOPs.
• Coordinate with Maintenance and Housekeeping for room prep.
• Train new Front Desk Agents and coach staff.
• Promote hotel programs and upsell when appropriate.
• Maintain cash handling and bank procedures.
