Job summary

BENCHMARK in Kennebunkport is seeking a dedicated guest service professional to provide exceptional assistance to guests at The Colony Hotel. Responsibilities include welcoming guests, assisting with luggage, and ensuring a clean entrance area.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of customer service experience, excellent communication skills, and a pleasant personality. Compensation is set at $19.00 per hour, with opportunities for various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Help guests discover their “Wanderlust” experience.
• Provide exceptional customer service by being engaging and taking sincere interest.
• Interact with all guests, welcoming them to the hotel and opening doors.
• Assist with luggage unloading and escort guests to their rooms.
• Retrieve and park guests vehicles as requested.
• Explain hotel amenities and local area information to guests.
• Work with other attendants to ensure personalized experiences.
• Assist the lobby attendant in keeping the entrance area clean and organized.
• Be the difference with guests and employees, exceeding expectations.

Qualifications

• At least one year in a customer service role with high guest interaction.
• A valid driver’s license with no major infractions for 6 months.
• Hospitality industry experience is a plus.

Compensation
