Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Front Desk Supervisor to oversee daily front desk operations, ensuring exceptional guest service from check-in to check-out. You will supervise staff, resolve guest concerns, maintain standards, and help maximize room revenue and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, managing reservations and cash handling, and coordinating with housekeeping and other departments as Manager on Duty.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality coursework preferred.
• Previous front desk experience required; supervisory preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support front desk agents during all shifts.
• Ensure efficient guest check-in and check-out procedures.
• Handle guest complaints and service recovery professionally.
• Train, coach, and mentor front desk staff on policies and customer service.
• Monitor reservations, room assignments, and occupancy levels.
• Balance cash transactions and ensure accurate billing.
