Job summary

Margaritaville Osage Beach in Osage Beach, MO offers a summer internship for current college students from May to August 2027. The role provides hands-on experience in hospitality, recreation operations, and guest services across pools, waterpark, and on-site amenities.

You will assist with schedules, orders, invoices, and vendors, and collaborate with engineering, sales, catering, human resources, reservations, marketing, and front desk to keep the resort running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Must be a current college student. Preference given to Hospitality majors.
• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
• Possess strong hospitality skills while in direct contact with the guests, other staff members and on the phone.
• Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and hotel policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the use of recreational facilities to ensure safety and compliance with facility rules and regulations
• Provide equipment to guests and ensure their proper usage
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of recreational areas
• Assist in organizing and conducting recreational activities
• Provide information and assistance to guests regarding the facility and its offerings
• Monitor facility equipment and report any damages or necessary repairs
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required
• Handle guest complaints and feedback in a professional and courteous manner

Job Details: Job Location: 532 - Osage Beach Margaritaville - Osage Beach, MO 65065, Position Type: Internship, Salary Range: $15.00, This is a summer Internship (May to August 2027) for current college students, aged 18 years or older.

Experience the high-profile, high-demand recreation areas at our laid-back, tropical paradise. Our Team manages the indoor and outdoor pools, indoor waterpark, bowling alley, arcade, billiards room, mini-golf, pickleball, marina, and activities room. The activities encompass everything from large-scale events like a 5K run, to game-nights, swimming lessons, fishing dock excursions, water-balloon fights, and most anything in between. Applicants must demonstrate an easy demeanor, aggressive hospitality, and an ability to bring out the best in our staff. You will have an opportunity to contribute to the behind-the-scenes efforts required to allow our guests to escape and relax.

Internship add-ons

• Assist with schedules, orders, invoices, and vendors.
• Work alongside engineering, sales, catering, grounds, food & beverage, human resources, reservations, marketing, and the front desk to keep recreation functioning at the highest level.
• Evaluations and additional projects as needed.

$15 per hour
