Courtyard by Marriott Albany Thruway is seeking a Front Desk Clerk in Albany, NY to greet guests, check them in/out, and manage reservations with a focus on exceptional service. The role offers part-time hours and eligibility for comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities include handling phone inquiries, processing charges, coordinating room availability, and assisting guests with local information and shuttle services where available. Join a hospitality leader dedicated to guest satisfaction.

Competenze

• 1 to 3 months related experience; High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Solid organizational, time-management and prioritization skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer and administrative skills
• Availability to work a flexible schedule
• Maintain a valid Driver’s License from the state which you reside with no major violations.

Mansioni

• Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests.
• Answer telephone.
• Post charges, compute bill, collect payment, and make change for guests.
• Make and confirm reservations.
• Monitor room availability.
• Block rooms.
• Program wake-up calls.
• Handle guest mail and messages.
• Perform check-out services.
• Open and close shifts making cash drops as necessary.
• Maintain market stock and coffee area as needed.
• Provide information pertaining to hotel hours and services.
• Provide directions and local area information.
• Assist in maintaining lobby cleanliness and condition checks.
• Schedule shuttle runs for guests (if applicable).
• Provide safe transportation to guests via hotel shuttle (if applicable).
• Perform laundry duties (Fairfield Inn only).
• Maintain continental breakfast (Fairfield Inn only).
