Job summary

United Defense Tactical in Sarasota is seeking a friendly Front Desk Associate to be the first point of contact for customers, greeting them in person, on the phone, or by email, and assisting with their needs.

This role requires excellent communication, multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to coordinate with other departments to resolve inquiries. Evening hours and weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in customer service or receptionist roles preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers, colleagues and managers.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with common office software and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers at the front desk and direct them to the appropriate department.
• Answer and manage phone calls and emails promptly and professionally.
• Maintain the front desk area (organization, cleanliness, stock).
• Process inquiries, complaints, and requests, escalating when needed.
• Check-in/check-out customers and verify reservations and billing information.
• Maintain customer records and update the database.
