Job summary

Allied Universal in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Reception to greet visitors, monitor access, and support a welcoming environment at a cultural institution. You will handle front desk duties, verify credentials, respond to alarms, and maintain logs while delivering excellent customer service.

Requires Spanish fluency and security experience; background check and licensing requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Minimum 6 months of security-related experience.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, staff, artists, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies at a cultural institution.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct guests, verify access credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain visitor logs in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor entry activity, access control systems, cameras, alarms, and communications equipment, reporting unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency procedures.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly, welcoming lobby environment and provide directions or event information.
