Qualifications

• Fluent Spanish speaking, reading, and writing required.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Guard card/license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• 18+ years for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, staff, artists, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a cultural institution.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct guests, verify access credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain visitor logs in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor entry activity, access control systems, cameras, alarms, and communications equipment, reporting unusual activity or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly, welcoming lobby environment and provide directions or event information while helping to deter unauthorized access.

Pay Rate: $18.42 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
