Job summary

Allied Universal in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk to welcome visitors, verify access, and maintain a secure, customer-focused environment at a mall location. You will staff the front desk, monitor entry activity, issue temporary credentials, and respond calmly to incidents per established procedures while delivering professional service and teamwork.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $20.10 / Hour.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Staff the front desk and serve as a professional point of contact, greeting visitors, verifying access credentials, and directing individuals to appropriate areas.
• Monitor access to the location, maintain visitor logs, issue temporary credentials as authorized, and report unusual activity to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Communicate professionally with mall personnel, tenants, vendors, and emergency responders, and complete accurate activity and incident documentation.
