Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Welcome Desk in Ponte Vedra, FL. The role involves serving as the welcoming presence for tenants, visitors, and staff, managing access, and addressing security-related concerns with professionalism.

Position Type: Full Time; Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour; Schedule includes DayTime shifts from 07:00 AM to 06:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Candidates must meet minimum requirements and be able to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a commercial real estate location.
• Monitor access to the property, greet and direct visitors, verify credentials as required, and maintain visitor records in accordance with site procedures.
• Answer incoming calls, receive deliveries, and communicate routine information to building occupants and authorized personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and support emergency response activities when needed.
• Monitor front desk activity, report unusual conditions or maintenance concerns, and complete required reports and documentation.
