Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer - Front Desk at our Atlanta, GA location. You will staff the front desk at a financial institution, greet visitors, verify IDs, and monitor access while delivering exceptional customer service.

Role offers flexible day/evening shifts and opportunities to claim additional shifts via our platform. Minimum security-related experience and standard compliance requirements apply. Pay is shown as hourly at $20.06.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate degree/60 college credits or police/corrections cert.
• Armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation per federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law; licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and guests while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk in a professional financial-services location, greet and direct visitors, verify identification, and manage visitor access.
• Monitor access points, visitor logs, and security-related systems from the front desk; report irregularities and access concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following escalation procedures.
• Maintain records of visitors, deliveries, incidents, and other front-desk activities with clear communication to site personnel.
