Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer at our Irving, TX site. You will welcome visitors, control access, monitor entry activity and deliver professional customer service in a high-security aerospace/defense environment.

This full-time front desk role requires a DoD Secret Clearance and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. You must be 18+ (21+ for armed), able to lift 20+ pounds, and CPR/Guard Card are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance is required for the role.
• Lift 20+ pounds, physical capability preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and assess access at a front desk within an aerospace/defense location.
• Monitor entry activity, verify credentials, and maintain visitor logs.
• Answer phones and provide professional information to site personnel and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and alarms following emergency procedures.
• Complete required visitor activity and security-related documentation.
