Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and front-desk policies in a healthcare setting.
• Greet and direct visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials as applicable, and maintain accurate visitor and/or access records.
• Monitor front-desk activity, access points, alarms, cameras, and/or communication systems, reporting unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related events, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Answer incoming calls, relay information to appropriate personnel, and support a professional, welcoming environment at the front desk.
