Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Reception Checkpoint in Wilmington, DE to serve as a welcoming, professional presence at the front desk, supporting access control, visitor management, and security communications at a chemical/petrochemical location.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a chemical/petrochemical location by carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Monitor access at the front desk by verifying credentials and issuing visitor badges.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following reporting and escalation procedures.
• Monitor cameras and access-control systems and report issues to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and other required documentation.
