Job summary

Allied Universal, Sewell, NJ, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Reception Operations to welcome visitors, manage access, and protect a financial institution environment. You will monitor entry, handle calls and deliveries, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care.

The role requires two years of security experience with CPR and license preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors at a front desk location within a financial institution environment.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying identification, managing visitor sign-in procedures, and issuing visitor credentials in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Receive, screen, and route incoming calls, deliveries, and inquiries while maintaining professional communication and confidentiality.
• Monitor entry areas, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems, reporting unusual activity or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
