Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer with clearance for a Front Desk role in North Charleston, SC. You will welcome visitors, manage access procedures, monitor entry activity, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding security policies in a technology/telecom location.

Position is full-time with a pay rate of $24.72 per hour. Work schedule includes Mon, Sat, Sun shifts, providing a structured front desk presence in a busy facility.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance required.
• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
• Age 21+ for armed roles; 18+ for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors at the front desk and verify identification and authorization.
• Monitor lobby activity and security systems; escalate issues per site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and contact appropriate site contacts or emergency responders as needed.
• Direct guests, contractors, and deliveries to deter unauthorized access and maintain a professional reception.
