Job summary

Allied Universal in Charleston, SC is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Front Desk to provide reliable, front desk service at a financial institution site. This flexible role offers fixed shifts with opportunities to pick up additional hours through our scheduling platform.

You will greet visitors, verify IDs, manage visitor logs, answer calls, and respond to incidents following our emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet; badge access experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and provide front desk assistance at the site.
• Verify identifications, issue visitor credentials, and maintain logs.
• Answer calls, receive deliveries, and coordinate with employees, visitors, vendors, and emergency personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following emergency procedures.
• Observe activity and report security concerns to Allied Universal leadership.
