Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk Computer Support in Burbank, CA to greet tenants and visitors, manage access, and maintain a secure lobby environment. This role pairs frontline customer service with security duties at a premier commercial property.

You will monitor access points, operate security systems, respond calmly to incidents, and coordinate with building management and responders while upholding Allied Universal's culture of teamwork and integrity.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients at the front desk of a commercial real estate location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and authorization as required, manage visitor sign-in processes, and direct guests to appropriate offices or building areas.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, and security-related systems from a stationary front-desk post; report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or access issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with building management, emergency responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, package, key, and incident records while providing professional communication and supporting a welcoming building environment.
