Open to MSU students, this internship emphasizes professionalism, teamwork, and strong communication. Typical shifts include 7:00–15:00 or 15:00–23:00, with 15–20 hours weekly and weekend commitments.

As a Front Office Rotational Student, you will train on and master all the front office positions at the Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center. You will be expected to master the following roles: Telephone Operator, Reservations Agent, and Front Desk Agent. It is often your job to be the face of the Kellogg Center while providing outstanding customer service to a wide range of guests.

Typical Duties May Include

• Actively engage with all guests of the Hotel


• Assist guests with luggage and directions


• Answer phones, perform data entries, assist in maintaining records and accounts


• Ensure accurate guest folios and transactions at the Front Desk


• Check guests in and out of the hotel while assisting with various guest service duties
