Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife in Franklin, Indiana is seeking a friendly receptionist to greet residents and visitors, manage the switchboard, and handle basic office duties. This part-time role covers day and evening shifts in a busy community setting that values person-centered care.

You will support resident communication, coordinate guest meals and room reservations, and maintain key records while ensuring a welcoming environment for all who enter Otterbein SeniorLife.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or GED, or a combination of education and experience.
• Computer Skills: proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Greet, direct and aid residents and visitors courteously at all times.
• Operate Switchboard, answer and transfer calls, and take messages.
• Respond to Panic Button calls and obtain emergency assistance as needed.
• Maintain Daily Journal deliveries and keep accurate records for residents.
• Make guest meal and room reservations and notify proper departments.
• Maintain keys records and signing out keys issued.
