About the Role
The Front Desk Representative is the first point of contact for guests and manages all stages of a guest’s stay.
Position Responsibilities
- Adhere to company and departmental procedures, guidelines, and policies at all times.
- Foster a cooperative and harmonious work environment.
- Provide prompt, courteous, and efficient service to promote positive customer relations.
- Register guests into the hotel and process check-outs at the end of their stay.
- Maintain cash bank, prepare daily deposits, and handle cash payments with immediate posting and LMS-generated receipts.
- Make baggage arrangements according to hotel procedures.
- Handle customer check-outs and accept payments for charges in line with hotel procedures.
- Verify room status and assist with reservations.
- Respond to guest inquiries about hotel services, rates, and amenities.
- Inform guests about hotel services and events.
- Greet guests warmly and professionally using a positive and clear voice.
- Maintain knowledge of all outlets and their hours of operation.
- Required qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, with preferred experience in cash handling, customer service, and computer skills, including LMS & ACSC.
- Effective communication skills in English are essential.
Essential Functions
- Resolve customer issues with a customer-focused approach.
- Promote positive relations with the public and staff.
- Work in a casino environment with factors like secondhand smoke, noise, and stress.
- Stand for entire shifts and move throughout the hotel and casino areas.
- Work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends.
What’s Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred experience in cash handling and customer service.
- Desired computer skills, including LMS & ACSC.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
