Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of experience on a multi-line telephone switchboard, preferably in a health care environment.
• Successful completion of Verbal De-Escalation Certification; provided during Fairfax new hire training.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes guests with a smile and provides quality, efficient service for internal and external customers.
• Answers and routes multiple phone lines and responds to routine questions.
• Assists with coordination of patient admissions and discharge processes; monitors lobby area.
• Performs related clerical duties as assigned.
