Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and efficient Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at Frederick Health Physical Therapy & Sports Rehab Urbana Outpatient Clinic, part of Frederick Health in Frederick, Maryland. This is a full-time position in a busy outpatient rehabilitation setting, primarily serving orthopedic and sports rehab patients.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and schedule patient appointments for Physical Therapy services
• Organize & compile patient charts for therapists
• Perform patient registration, including collecting patient information and health history
• Input patient transactions and collect co-pays
• Perform daily clinic data entry and transmission
• Close the clinic at the end of each day, including financial reconciliation, deposits, and schedule management

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years medical office front desk experience
• Understanding of patient insurance benefits and ability to explain them
• Proficiency with EMR systems and patient scheduling software
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology and physician referral process
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently
• High School diploma or equivalent
