Are you the type of efficient and goal-oriented person who would excel in a Front Desk Outpatient Rehab Receptionist position?

Tx:Team is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at Frederick Health Physical Therapy & Sports Rehab Aspen Ridge Outpatient Clinic, part of Frederick Health in Frederick, Maryland.

Details:

This busy outpatient rehabilitation clinic provides Physical Therapy services mainly to orthopedic and sports rehab patients. We are looking for an energetic candidate to handle receptionist duties and ensure a positive patient experience.

Join a team known for excellent service. This is a full-time role with comprehensive compensation and benefits, including Paid Time Off and Continuing Education benefits.

Hours: Monday – Friday. No weekends or holidays.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Enthusiastic about joining a dynamic team
  • At least 2 years of medical office front desk experience
  • Understanding of patient insurance benefits and ability to explain them
  • Minimum 2 years experience with EMR systems and patient scheduling
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with clinical and administrative staff
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), typing, and data entry
  • Knowledge of physician referral processes
  • Ability to interact professionally with physicians' staff, insurance providers, colleagues, and patients
  • Strong work habits, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to work independently following instructions
  • Knowledge of medical terminology

Responsibilities:

  • Answer phone calls
  • Schedule patient appointments
  • Manage office supply inventory weekly
  • Organize and prepare patient charts for therapists
  • Register patients on first visit, including collecting information and health history
  • Process patient transactions and collect co-pays
  • Complete and transmit clinic data regularly
  • Close clinic daily, including financial reconciliation, deposits, charting, and scheduling

Minimum Requirements:

  • Two years of medical office front desk experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
