Job Responsibilities

What would you do? – The Specifics

  • Ensure high-quality customer service while following all safety protocols.
  • Maintain a smooth flow of customers through the store.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls in accordance with National Vision protocol.
  • Process and understand managed care plans, obtaining necessary documents from insurance companies.
  • Provide customers with basic and accurate information.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, follow-up visits, and classes.
  • File all patient records daily and retrieve patient files for the next day's appointments.
  • Check order statuses and notify customers of arrivals or delays.
  • Keep the reception area tidy and well-stocked with necessary materials.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries and maintain inventory of office supplies.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled mandatory communication meetings.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluent in reading and speaking both English and Spanish.
  • Experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role preferred but not required.
  • 0-2 years of related experience or training preferred.
  • Experience handling multiple phone lines preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills required.
