Location: Torrance, CA
Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour
Schedule: 8 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday

Job Duties
  • Greet and welcome visitors, guests, and employees in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
  • Manage the front desk and reception area
  • Sign visitors in and provide visitor badges as required
  • Notify employees when visitors arrive
  • Respond to general questions and provide basic information
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area
  • Schedule or assist with appointments and meetings
  • Perform basic data entry and administrative tasks
  • Assist with scanning, filing, copying, and other office duties
  • Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, vendors, and clients
  • Follow all company safety, security, and visitor procedures
Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Additional education or training in office administration, business, communications, or customer service is beneficial.
Experience Requirements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional and welcoming approach.
  • Ability to answer and route telephone calls, greet visitors, and respond to routine questions accurately.
  • Experience using computers, email, calendars, office software, and standard office equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple administrative priorities.
  • Dependable attendance, professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
  • Previous receptionist, front desk, customer service, or administrative experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous receptionist, front desk, administrative assistant, office support, or customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, scheduling systems, multi-line telephone systems, CRM software, or other business applications is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of appointment scheduling, visitor management, correspondence, data entry, or general office procedures is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate professionalism, organization, communication skills, and a customer-focused attitude are well positioned for success as a Front Desk Receptionist.
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to remain seated or standing at a reception or workstation for extended periods.
  • Ability to communicate professionally by telephone, email, and in person throughout the workday.
  • Ability to occasionally lift, carry, or move office materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to perform normal office duties while maintaining productivity and professional presentation throughout the workday.
