Responsibilities

Scope: Under supervision, responsible for greeting patients and visitors professionally, ensuring all forms are completed, and serving as a liaison between patients and staff. Supports compliance with US Oncology standards.

  1. Greet patients and visitors courteously; collect necessary forms and information.
  2. Register new patients, prepare charts, and notify staff of arrivals.
  3. Collect co-pays and out-of-pocket expenses; issue receipts.
  4. Maintain lobby cleanliness and order.
  5. Identify no-shows and assist with patient notifications.
  6. Protect patient confidentiality and follow policies to improve front office efficiency.
  7. Assist with correspondence and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Customer service experience, preferably in healthcare.
Additional Details

Salary: $19.50 - $25.00/hour

Physical Demands and Work Environment: Describes requirements for sitting, lifting, manual dexterity, vision, hearing, and working in an office with patient contact. Accommodations available for disabilities.
