Women's Health CT is currently seeking a Full-time, Front Desk Receptionist to support the offices of Women's Health Group!

Position: Front Desk Receptionist
Location: Women's Health Group
Main Office: 2301 Silas Deane Hwy. Rocky Hill, CT 06067, with additional offices in Enfield and Hartford.
Employment: Full-time, 40 hrs per week
Schedule: Monday- Friday, 8:00a- 5:00p
Reports to: Practice Manager

Job Summary: Women's Health Group is currently seeking a full-time front desk receptionist to join our team. The front desk receptionist will have a strong background of Customer Service and experience in handling multiple requests at one time. Position duties and responsibilities:

  • Serves as a representative of WHG, displaying kindness and respect in all interactions with patients, providers, outside vendors, and team members.
  • Greet and initiate the Patient Check-In process by verifying new/existing patient demographic and insurance information.
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility through our electronic medical records software to ensure active coverage.
  • Collect/process patient co-payments and address outstanding balances at time of check in.
  • Accurate scheduling of patients across multiple providers following practice guidelines
  • Follow internal protocols regarding departmental communications
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
  • Transportation a must – multiple facilities throughout Greater Hartford Area (Hartford, Rocky Hill and Enfield)
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Skills/qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish, preferred, not required
  • Previous experience working in a busy medical office.
  • Computer skills evidenced by proficiency and /or training with applicable EHR software
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience with diffusing tense situations.
  • Ability to successfully use analytical thinking while troubleshooting possible issues.
  • Flexibility to cover all offices as needed, Hartford, Rocky Hill and Enfield.
