A leading company in Parker, CO is seeking a full-time front desk receptionist. The role involves welcoming visitors, managing mail, and performing clerical duties. General Statement of Duties
This non-exempt, full-time position is responsible for front desk reception operations and will serve as the primary in-person interface with customers. Responsibilities include welcoming, assisting and directing customers and visitors. Managing mail and deliveries for several District facilities, performing clerical duties and other related tasks as assigned by the Customer Relations Manager. This position performs duties in a manner consistent with the stated vision, mission and values of the District.
Supervision Received
Works under the direct supervision of the Customer Relations Manager.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Greet, welcome and direct visitors, customers, and employees in a warm, professional manner.
Create a positive and welcoming experience for visitors by providing general information regarding District services, projects and activities.
Alert appropriate staff when someone is there to meet or visit them.
Provide staff notifications via phone, text, or Microsoft Teams.
Accept deliveries, packages and mail, organize them to be distributed to the correct recipients in a timely manner while also managing outgoing mail and packages for pickup.
Monitor and manage remote gate entry inquiries for several District facility locations.
Assist with meetings, trainings, and tour facilitation.
Coordinate, schedule and manage facility rental requests.
Assist builders with permit card sign off for meter set requirement.
Assist with call overflow for Customer Care as needed.
Maintain safety and hygiene standards of the reception area.
Follow security procedures by monitoring the visitor logbook and issuing and collecting visitor badges to those entering and exiting the building.
Monitor security video of the building parking lot for any hazards and report any concerns to appropriate staff.
Perform general clerical duties such as filing, scanning, generation and mailing of letters/communications as directed.
Other duties as assigned.

Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Organization skills to keep accurate records and find important information quickly.
Ability to work independently and effectively manage periods of inactivity.
Time management skills to prioritize and complete a side variety of tasks throughout the day.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams.
Ability to operate a variety of office equipment, including a scanner, postage machine, copy machine, and other related office equipment.
Qualifications / Experience
High School diploma required.
Previous experience in a customer service role preferred.
Must have a Motor Vehicle Record within the Acceptable or no less than Borderline rating according to the Vehicle Policy.
Working Conditions/Physical Activities
Monday through Friday 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, 40 hours per workweek.
Standard office environment with constant interruptions and deadlines; mostly sedentary work with computer use for prolonged periods
Vision is needed for reading, recording and interpreting information; speech and hearing are used to communicate with customers and other employees over the telephone, on a two-way radio and in person.
Light physical effort is required by handling objects up to 10 to 15 pounds occasionally and/or up to 5 pounds frequently.
