Role Overview

As the face of our stores, Receptionists are responsible for greeting and welcoming customers in a friendly manner as soon as they arrive at the store. They keep organized patient records and help patient schedules flow smoothly. They’re the glue to our operations, helping everyone to stay on track. The role provides prompt, courteous service to customers either on the phone or in person.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Ensure high-quality customer service while following all safety protocols.
  2. Maintain a smooth flow of customers through the store.
  3. Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls per protocol.
  4. Process and understand managed care plans, obtaining necessary documentation from insurance companies.
  5. Provide customers with accurate basic information.
  6. Schedule and confirm appointments, follow-ups, and classes.
  7. File patient records daily and prepare files for upcoming appointments.
  8. Check order statuses and inform customers of delays or arrivals.
  9. Keep the reception area tidy and stocked with necessary materials.
  10. Handle daily mail and deliveries, maintain office supply inventory.
  11. Participate in scheduled communication meetings.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Receptionist or similar role preferred but not required.
  • 0-2 years related experience or training preferred.
  • Experience handling multiple phone lines is a plus.
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills required.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
