Select Medical's Lansing outpatient center is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to greet patients, register them, and help with appointment coordination. You will be at the front desk and play a key role in ensuring a smooth care experience for every patient.

You will collect co-pays, verify insurance, and communicate with attorneys, insurance companies, and internal teams to support daily operations and patient care. This is a full-time role with weekday hours and comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred: 1 year Front Desk experience
• Preferred: Healthcare experience

Responsabilidades

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications
