Priority Health Care is seeking a Patient Services Specialist to be the first point of contact at our clinic. This entry-level front desk role is essential to delivering accessible, compassionate care to our community.

You will greet patients, manage appointments, process insurance details, and handle payments while maintaining HIPAA compliance and confidentiality. Bilingual candidates are a plus and can contribute to serving diverse patients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year of customer service or healthcare front desk experience preferred.
• Proficiency with EHR, Microsoft Office, and multi-line phones preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors courteously; answer phones and direct calls appropriately.
• Schedule patient appointments using our EHR system; confirm and reschedule as needed.
• Complete patient registration, including demographic information, insurance verification, and consent forms.
• Scan and file patient ID and insurance cards into the medical record.
• Collect copayments and balances; reconcile daily cash drawer.
• Screen patients for financial assistance programs and help with applications.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.
• Assist patients with patient portal access and direct them to resources.
