Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of EMR systems and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet patients and visitors at the front desk.
• Register new patients and update demographics; collect co-pays and insurance information.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up services.
• Maintain front desk organization and manage phone lines efficiently.
• Verify benefits, obtain referrals/authorizations when required.
• Process payments and keep accurate financial records.
• Protect patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA.
