Job summary

La Familia Medical Center is seeking a Patient Services Representative to greet patients, register new and returning individuals, and provide clerical support in a busy medical center.

The role involves scheduling, data collection for demographics and insurance, processing payments, and coordinating referrals. Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred, with CPR certification and LFMC training required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• CPR Certification required.
• LFMC training including HIPAA training and safety.
• Fluent in both English and Spanish preferred.
• General office procedures knowledge and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients/visitors and checks them in for appointments or directs to staff.
• Updates records and schedules appointments/returns calls for confirmations.
• Answers phones and directs callers to the appropriate offices or staff.
• Maintains daily patient encounter records and insurance eligibility.
