Family Health Services is seeking a front desk assistant to support the clinic with phones, greeting patients, scheduling, and basic clerical duties. The role requires bilingual English/Spanish proficiency and flexibility for full-time or part-time work.

The position involves data entry, chart maintenance, and routine office tasks while providing friendly, patient-centered service in a medical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months experience in medical or behavioral health clinic preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft programs required.

Responsibilities

• Answers telephones, route calls, take messages, greet visitors and patients.
• Processes incoming mail and distributes to staff.
• Drafts basic correspondence, enters data, prints letters and reports.
• Maintains files and records; updates document storage.
• Schedules appointments and manages calendars; accommodates walk-ins.
• Maintains patient charts and filing system; files lab and test reports.
• Records No-Shows, Reschedules and Cancellations; notifies providers.
• Performs translation/interpretation as needed.
