Job summary

CNS Healthcare is seeking a Front Desk Representative to be the first point of contact for individuals served and visitors at our Detroit offices. The role requires staying calm in high-stress situations and supporting coworkers while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Minimum 1 year of office experience.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service in a diverse environment.
• Proficiency with word processing, data entry, and telephone skills.
• Ability to take initiative and handle confidential matters.

Responsibilities

• Check-in persons served, verify and update information in the electronic health record and collect copays as needed.
• Check-out individuals served and schedule appointments.
• Collect and document insurance information.
• Assist with coordinating transportation and other services for the people we serve.
• Maintain the reception area in a neat, orderly, and welcoming manner.
• Review and update information in the electronic health record system as needed.
• Maintain knowledge and compliance with policies, HIPAA, and regulatory standards.
• Ensure CNS Healthcare customer care standards are applied in interactions with individuals served, guests, and staff.
• Reference and maintain up-to-date agency resources (calendars, office schedules, program directories, team rosters).
• Provide coverage and support of other customer care team functions as needed.
