Schahet Hotels’ Homewood Suites Indianapolis Carmel is seeking a Guest Service Representative for weekend front desk coverage from 7am to 3pm. The role emphasizes friendly, professional service and clear communication.

As a part-time position, you will greet guests, handle check-in/out, answer questions, and assist with reservations while following brand standards. Prior hospitality and cash handling experience are preferred; flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• One year of hospitality experience required.
• Customer service experience required.
• Experience handling cash and card procedures.
• Attention to detail and strong organization.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and perform check-in/out procedures in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
• Follow all cash and credit card procedures required by Schahet and brand standard.
• Answer questions and give directions.
• Answer phones and make reservations.
• Update housekeeping room status.
• Respond promptly to any guests’ inquiries or complaints and offer alternate solutions if guest demand cannot be met.

Homewood Suites Indianapolis Carmel of Schahet Hotels is currently looking for an attentive, engaging, and service-oriented Guest Service Representative to join our team! This position is part time front desk for weekends and the hours are 7am-3pm.

Job Summary

Guest Service Representatives are often the first in-person contact for hotel guests and support guests' realized and unrealized needs throughout the hospitality experience. The primary responsibility of a Guest Service Representative is to deliver and exceed guest expectations, execute brand service standards, resolve challenges, and maintain excellent communication with guests, peers, and supervisors.
