Job summary

Homewood Suites Indianapolis Carmel, part of Schahet Hotels LLC, is seeking a Room Attendant to support our Housekeeping team. You will maintain clean, attractive guest rooms and provide attentive service to guests.

Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is preferred; strong attention to detail and a flexible schedule (including weekends/holidays) are expected. We offer competitive benefits and a supportive work culture aligned with our values.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience required
• Attention to detail
• Previous customer service experience
• Ability and flexibility to work weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Load housekeeping carts with all necessary supplies
• Strip all beds in checked-out rooms and drop all dirty linens to the laundry before any cleaning is done
• Obtain executive housekeeper’s signature on his/her work assignment sheet
• Vacuum, sweep, dust, and clean rooms to hotel standards
• Inspect room for safety hazards & for the operating conditions of equipment Check for damaged linens
• Report lost and found articles and maintenance problems to a supervisor
• Prepare rooms for guest arrivals and respond to special guest requests
• Record room status on work assignment sheets
• Other duties as assigned

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guest rooms while providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests.
