Job summary

Alteration Specialists (Alts) is seeking a Front Desk Operations Representative for an in-person role at our Roslyn, NY studio. You will handle front desk duties, client check-ins, payments, and coordination with tailoring teams.

You will manage bookings, respond to calls and emails, support office administration, and help ensure smooth store operations and a positive customer experience. This is an entry-level to early-career role with growth potential.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service roles is preferred.
• Desirable experience in fashion or communications management.
• Interest in fashion and sustainability is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional, warm office environment.
• Greet clients, manage check-ins, pickups and payments.
• Answer inbound calls and manage client bookings.
• Provide quick, on-brand communication across emails, calls, and in-person.
• Record and report consumer feedback and issues; contribute to solutions.
• Ensure QC checkpoints for garments entering/leaving the studio.
