Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Front Desk Associate in Vernon, CT. You will welcome members, handle calls, and deliver friendly service while promoting memberships and promotions. The role requires flexibility for a rotating schedule and is based in at-will, in-person work with a focus on accuracy in handling transactions.

The position supports a high-pace retail environment, including maintaining cleanliness and assisting with product promotions. Prior retail or fitness experience is valued.

Qualifications

• 18 years old or older
• A High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Six months face to face customer service experience in a retail environment required or 1-year Fitness experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist members with a confident, professional demeanor.
• Provide gracious and efficient telephone service and resolve inquiries.
• Maintain club cleanliness for up to 50% of the shift.
• Handle payments from customers, give change and receipts accurately.
• Promote products and promotions to drive revenue and membership.
• Answer questions about policies in a clear, customer-friendly manner.
