Job summary

Ozarks Community Hospital (OCH) in Rogersville, MO, seeks a Customer Service Representative/Medical Assistant for the Rogersville Clinic, with occasional travel to Marshfield Clinic. The role supports patient care, front desk activities, and clinic operations under supervision by nursing and medical staff.

The position requires a high school diploma, knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid, and clerical experience. BLS is required; float roles may need a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, third party payors.
• Experience in front office setting or clerical position.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• 1 year of related experience in a medical clinic or office preferred.
• Must hold a current BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross (recertification required).
• Float positions require a valid drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient assistance in the clinic/s office setting.
• Assist in development and orientation of new office/clinic staff.
• Coordinate activities of the office/clinic and assist with coverage of work schedules.
• Maintain regulatory requirements and office policies and procedures.
• Communicate with physicians and team members about patient status and diagnostic results.
