SportsCare Physical Therapy is seeking a Front Desk Medical Receptionist in Millburn, NJ. You will be the first point of contact, handling greetings, scheduling, registrations, insurance verification, and payments to support efficient clinic operations.

You will manage phone and email inquiries, maintain accurate patient records, and collaborate with clinicians to ensure high-quality patient care and privacy compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare admin certs are a plus.
• Experience in medical/healthcare receptionist roles preferred.
• Strong communication, professionalism and empathy for patients.
• Excellent organization and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient with computer software including EHR and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients with a warm, professional demeanor.
• Schedule patient appointments and coordinate with clinical team.
• Collect and verify patient information, insurance details and history.
• Check-in/check-out patients, process payments and issue receipts.
• Answer phones and emails; direct inquiries effectively and professionally.
• Maintain organized patient records; ensure confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with insurance authorizations and referrals when needed.
• Support general office tasks and keep reception area tidy.
