The Neurology Center in Carlsbad, CA is seeking a Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our fast-paced team. You will be the first point of contact for patients with neurological disorders, and you should have excellent customer service, communication, and multitasking skills. English/Spanish speaker preferred.

At least 1 year of experience working with patients is expected, and familiarity with local HMO, PPO and Medicare is beneficial. Epic EMR experience is a plus.

Description

The Neurology Center of Southern California is seeking a Front Desk Medical Receptionist to become a valued member of our team. We work with many neurological disorders such as movement disorders, dementia, MS, migraines, epilepsy, etc.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with good communication skills, and the desire to make a positive impact on the lives of patients with neurological disorders. You must have great customer service skills, the ability to multi-task, take initiative to complete job duties in a timely manner, and be responsible. It is imperative that you have an upbeat, positive attitude, be outgoing and enjoy working with people and patients.

This is an incredibly fast-paced, progressive environment, where you will be supported as part of a team. Spanish speaking is preferable. Also have at least 1 year experience working with patients, have a good understanding of our local HMO medical groups, PPO insurance and Medicare. Knowing Epic is a plus, Epic is the emr system we use.

We take all major holiday off as well as get our Birthday off (paid), after 90days of employment.
