TexomaCare is seeking a Medical Office Specialist to cover front desk duties in Denison, TX. Responsibilities include registering patients, handling check-ins, collecting co-pays, scheduling, and basic billing and EMR scanning.

The MOS should have medical terminology knowledge, strong organizational and communication skills, and discretion with confidential information. A HS diploma or GED and related training are preferred; one year of medical office experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required for this position.
• Completed a Medical Office Assistant/Specialist program or Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Minimum of one year of medical experience preferred.
• Reliability, responsibility and discretion in handling confidential information.
• Attention to detail and thorough task completion.

Responsabilités

• Front desk coverage including registration and check-in.
• Collect co-pays, schedule appointments, and assist with billing.
• Scan records into EMR, and manage reports and correspondence.
