Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of front medical office experience required.
• Ability to use a multi-line electronic telephone system.
• Basic computer skills and accurate record-keeping.
• Excellent communication skills for patient interaction.

Responsibilities

• Receive and schedule patients at the front desk and answer phones.
• Document concise messages from internal/external customers.
• Upload new patient information into the portal.
• Request and follow up on patient medical records from outside providers.
• Scan and file documents into patient charts and referrals.
• Verify insurance prior to appointments and update system data.
• Make daily reminder calls for upcoming appointments.
• Assist with Visit Prep forms and coordinate with other departments.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families and vendors.
